Tea-infused prunes

Method


  1. Place the teabags and whisky into a bowl with the boiling water and infuse for one minute.

  2. Add the prunes and leave to soak for five minutes.

  3. Remove the teabags and pour the prunes and liquid into a tall dessert glass.

  4. Pour over the melted chocolate, then add the whipped cream to fill the glass.

  5. Garnish with a mint sprig and serve.

Ingredients

  • 100ml/3½fl oz boiling water
  • 2 English Breakfast teabags
  • 50ml/2fl oz whisky
  • 150g/5½oz dried prunes, stones removed
  • 50g/1¾oz chocolate, melted
  • 100ml/3½fl oz double cream, whipped
  • mint sprig, to garnish
