Method

Place all the spices into a mortar and pestle and pound together.

Heat the oil in a pan over a low heat and fry the spices for one minute.

Add the tomatoes and sugar and simmer for 5-6 minutes. Stir in the fresh coriander.

To serve, spread the chutney over the naan bread.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
- 1 ready-made naan bread, warmed, to serve
