Sesame-crusted salmon with orange and soy sauce

Method


  1. Coat the salmon slices in the sesame seeds.

  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the salmon and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden-brown on both sides.

  3. Add the coriander, dill, orange juice and soy sauce and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling.

  4. To serve, place the sesame-crusted salmon pieces onto a serving plate, spoon the orange and soy sauce over the fish, and garnish with the orange segments.

Ingredients

  • 125g/4½oz salmon fillet, skin removed, sliced in half
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander, leaves only
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1 orange, juice only
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 orange, peeled and segmented, to serve
