Pork and sesame noodle soup

Heat the oil in a saucepan over a medium heat, add the seasoned pork and fry, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes, or until beginning to brown on all sides. Add the garlic and chilli and cook for a further 1-2 minutes.

Add the chicken stock, noodles and cabbage and bring to the boil. Boil until the noodles have softened and the pork is completely cooked through.

To serve, pour the soup into a bowl and drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil.
Ingredients
For the soup
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 100g/3½oz pork tenderloin, cut into cubes, seasoned with salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- ½ green chilli, finely chopped
- 300ml/½ pint hot chicken stock
- 100g/3½oz rice noodles
- ½ savoy cabbage, finely sliced
To serve
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
