Beat the cream cheese in a bowl until soft.

Add the garlic, herbs and spring onion and beat to combine.

For the herb salad, toss the herbs in the oil in a bowl.

Serve the garlic and herb cheese and the herb salad in bowls with griddled pittas to the side.
Ingredients
- 140g/4oz cream cheese
- 1 garlic clove, crushed and chopped
- 1 tablespoon mixed fresh herbs (flatleaf parsley, coriander, mint), finely chopped
- 1 spring onion, chopped
For the salad
- 2 handfuls mixed herbs (flatleaf parsley, coriander, mint)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- griddled pittas, cut into triangles
