Creamy pasta with mussels

Method


  1. Place the white wine, double cream and turmeric into a pan over a medium heat. Bring up to the boil then reduce the heat to simmer for three minutes.

  2. Add the cooked pasta and mussels and cook for a further three minutes, until the mussels are warmed through.

  3. To serve, pour into a bowl and top with the chopped chives.

Ingredients

  • 50ml/2fl oz white wine
  • 100ml/3½fl oz double cream
  • pinch turmeric powder
  • 150g/5½oz fresh pasta, cooked according to packet instructions
  • 75g/2¾oz cooked mussels from a jar, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
