Toasted seeds

Method


  1. Place the oats, all the seeds, salt and chilli flakes into a saucepan over a high heat and 'toast' for five minutes. Shake the pan regularly to ensure even cooking.

  2. Add the oil and chopped mint, heat and stir for a further minute.

  3. Serve warm in a bowl.

Ingredients

  • 100g/3½oz oats, toasted
  • 55g/2oz pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 55g/2oz sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes

To serve

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves, chopped
