For the beef tataki, season the beef fillet with salt and freshly ground black pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
Heat a frying pan until smoking hot and sear the beef for 1-2 minutes on both sides. Remove from the heat and leave to rest for five minutes, before slicing thinly.
For the steamed broccoli, place the broccoli in a steamer over a pan of boiling water and steam for four minutes, or until just tender. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
For the ponzu-style sauce, place the lemon juice, chilli flakes, soy sauce, salt and freshly ground black pepper into a small bowl and whisk to combine.
To serve, place the sliced beef and broccoli onto a serving plate and pour over the ponzu sauce.
