Sausage kebabs

Try cooking sausages on rosemary skewers for a fragrant twist. Serve these healthy kebabs with a jacket sweet potato.

Method


  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

  2. Trim the end of the rosemary stalks to a point and remove most of the leaves.

  3. Thread a tomato, pepper piece and sausage onto a rosemary stalk. Repeat with the remaining ingredients and rosemary stalks. Put the kebabs onto the baking tray.

  4. Mix the honey and mustard together in a bowl, then brush the mixture onto the kebabs.

  5. Roast the kebabs for 18-20 minutes or until the sausages are cooked through.

Ingredients

  • 4 long stalks fresh rosemary
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • ¼ red pepper, cut into 2.5cm/1in pieces
  • 8 cocktail sausages
  • 1 tbsp runny honey
  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
