Heat the butter in a frying pan, place the cake slices into the pan and cook for a minute on each side. Remove from the pan and set aside in a warm place.
In the same pan, cook the strawberries with the sugar for one minute.
For the chocolate sauce, place the cocoa powder, golden syrup and hot water into a saucepan and cook over a low heat for 3-4 minutes.
To serve, place the cake slices onto a plate along with the strawberries and ice cream and drizzle with the chocolate sauce.
