Hot chocolate sauce

Method


  1. Place the chocolate, double cream, brandy and orange zest into a small saucepan and warm gently for three minutes, stirring gently

  2. To serve, place into a small clean bowl and serve with fingers of madeira cake to dip into the sauce.

Ingredients

  • 50g/1¾oz dark chocolate, melted
  • 3 tbsp double cream
  • 25ml/1fl oz brandy
  • ½ orange, zest only
  • 100g/3½oz madeira cake, cut into fingers, to serve
