Place a small saucepan over a medium heat.

Add the frozen winter fruit, the stem ginger, and the mixed spice. Bring to the simmer and cook for five minutes.

To serve, pour into a bowl and drizzle with double cream.

- 400g frozen winter fruits
- 50g/1¾oz stem ginger, cut into julienne
- 2 pinches ground mixed spice
- 50ml/2fl oz double cream
