Filo pastry scrunches with fruit

Method


  1. Preheat oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.

  2. Brush the filo pastry sheets with butter and dust with the icing sugar. Scrunch and place onto a baking trays.

  3. Place into a pre-heated oven for three minutes.

  4. Take out and leave to cool for a few minutes.

  5. Place the filo pastry onto a plate and drizzle with honey, then cover with the chopped apricots and pistachios. Finally sprinkle them with the sesame seeds.

Ingredients

  • 3 sheets filo pastry
  • 5 tbsp butter, melted
  • 25g/1oz icing sugar
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 8 dried apricots, chopped
  • 25g/½oz pistachios, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
