Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
Melt the butter and sugar in an ovenproof frying pan over a medium heat.
Add the peach wedges, cut-side down, and cook for five minutes.
Brush a sheet of the pastry with the melted butter and screw up into a ball. Repeat with the remaining three sheets of filo and place the pastry balls on top of the peaches.
Transfer the pan into the oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until the pastry is crisp and golden.
