Creamy pasta with mussels

Method

Place the white wine, double cream and turmeric into a pan over a medium heat. Bring up to the boil then reduce the heat to simmer for three minutes.

Add the cooked pasta and mussels and cook for a further three minutes, until the mussels are warmed through.

To serve, pour into a bowl and top with the chopped chives.
Ingredients
- 50ml/2fl oz white wine
- 100ml/3½fl oz double cream
- pinch turmeric powder
- 150g/5½oz fresh pasta, cooked according to packet instructions
- 75g/2¾oz cooked mussels from a jar, rinsed and drained
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
