Chicken satay

Method


  1. Place the chilli, peanut butter, water, soy sauce, sesame oil and seeds into a food processor and blend until smooth.

  2. Thread the chicken chunks onto two wooden skewers and drizzle with the oil.

  3. To serve, place the satay sauce into a small bowl. Place the chicken skewers onto a plate with the sauce alongside.

Ingredients

  • ½ red chilli, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
  • splash water
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • ½ ready-cooked chicken breast, cut into chunks
  • drizzle of olive oil, to serve
