From Something for the Weekend
This Caribbean carnival cocktail is perfect for a celebration.

Method


  1. Place all of the cocktail ingredients into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice and stir until well combined.

  2. Strain the cocktail into a highball glass filled with crushed ice and garnish with the pineapple leaves and a slice of guava.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla syrup
  • 25ml/1fl oz aloe vera juice
  • 25ml/1fl oz guava juice
  • 2 dashes angostura bitters
  • 25ml/1fl oz white rum
  • 25ml/1fl oz sourz pineapple liqueur
  • 1 tbsp dark rum

To garnish

  • 2 pineapple leaves
  • slice fresh guava
