Heat the oil in a deep pan for deep frying (CAUTION: Hot oil can be dangerous. Do not leave unattended).
In a clean bowl, mix the flour and baking powder together with enough milk to form a pliable dough.
Divide the mixture into 12 and shape into small balls. Press a blueberry into the middle of each one.
Deep-fry for 1-2 minutes or until puffed up and crisp and golden.
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper.
Toss in the sugar and cinnamon and serve warm.
